Being informed helps us lay a foundation from which we can learn new skills, do things differently, create long lasting change, honor our collective humanity and create opportunities for healing.
THE WORK-LIFE BALANCE
SHIFT
There has been a major shift in the last decade in how people think about and navigate self care, work-life balance, burnout, getting mental health support, and how to be an effective leader.
As a collective, we’re increasingly aware of the disparity in how people are treated, who has power, who abuses power, and the structures that uphold it all.
At work there is less compartmentalization between our personal and professional lives but we’re still figuring out how to be ourselves without risking our jobs.
As leaders, how do we know what will help our staff (and us!) find lasting balance?
While we understand the need for change it can be difficult to know how or where to start. Many leaders want to support themselves and their staff but it’s hard to know what investments will stretch the furthest.
Trauma Informed Education
Trauma informed education and training is a one time investment that compounds over time. When people have the opportunity to learn about sensitive topics they are better able to understand themselves and others.
This understanding lays a foundation from which we can learn new skills, do things differently, create long lasting change, honor our collective humanity and create opportunities for healing.
